A group of 5th Year students accompanied the Headmaster to the amazingly culturally rich city of Rome. So much to see in just a few days….. St Peter’s Basilica, the Sistine Chapel, the Vatican Museums, the Colosseum, Catacombs, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, the list goes on and on!
They also paid a visit to the Benedictine Monastery in Rome, and Brother Oscar in particular, who is, of course, from Glenstal.
They also managed to squeeze in time for the ubiquitous Italian specialities of Pizza and Ice Cream!
